Academic Teaching & Lecturing

I have taught and guest lectured on undergraduate, post graduate and executive education at institutions including Warwick University Summer School, St Marys University, Winmark Global One Day MBA, Cardiff University and South Wales University on marketing, business and sustainability.

I specialise in delivering interactive and practical sessions that explore key communication and marketing concepts such as brand, reputation and stakeholder engagement, digital marketing, innovation and social media communications. I am delighted to regularly work with Professor Merlin Stone and Dr Eleni Aravopoulou on a variety of commercially-led academic research initiatives.

We are working with a wide variety of cross industry companies, partners and sponsors to develop new insight in the areas of digital marketing, digital business models and information management. We are already working on a number of exciting journal publications and innovative research designed to deliver real impact to the UK/Global economy.

I am fascinated with academic research, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence, marketing, social media and smart cites.

Publications

Academic Journal publications include the International Journal of Internet Marketing & Advertising, The Relevance of Images in User Generated Content, A Mixed Method Study of When & why Major Brands Retweet and The Bottom Line / Emerald – Information Management in the smart city for which we won the 2019 Outstanding paper award.

Teaching

Conference Speaking

I love speaking at academic conferences and typically speak about emerging trends in customer behaviour, AI, digital, brand marketing and product innovation.

I love learning new things so I am open to working to a brief for any session you may have that’s within my areas of interest and expertise.
